Grainger County UT Extension helps the community grow and build better and stronger in ever category. We set on committees and are able to be involved with any plans to strengthen the County. One example is the above improvements to the courthouse through grants. UT Extension sat on the committee which help start it all. A stage with our state 3 star symbol was added to the front, along with railing for the stage, landscaping, County sign, and ornate lights. All these improvements added to the look and welcoming feel to all visitors. A historical kiosk which celebrates the long traditional history of the county and it’s importance was added as well.
